Owners and Lifeguards are on a power trip running a small kids water park. My son passed the height clearance of 1.1m with his head positioned in a slightly downward position (after the lifeguard took a ruler and tried to slide it between his crown and the measuring bar). After he passed, the Lifeguard ran a protocol of pressing his feet firmly downward (into the floor) pushing his heels back against the board, and then moved his chin upward. Then took a ruler and slid it between his head and measuring bar to which it slid through with resistance. The lifeguard failed him and denied him sliding for the day. I had to deal with a melt-down for about an hour. I approached the owner (bald, small, ego-maniac with glasses and sense-less arguments) and asked about the draconian-style policies employed at his facility. Owner stated that it was in the name of safety. He asked my son’s age and I said 3 years old (big boy for 3) to which he said that my son shouldn’t be riding the slide anyway because he is under 6 years and that it was my fault because I didn’t read the sign upon entry. Only height restriction detail was listed on their website, not age. I asked then if “in the name of safety”, why he doesn’t confirm ages at the door before paying? (as my daughter is 5 years old who is 1.15cm but rode the slide many times and was never asked her age at the entry before taking my money or at the slide itself); of course because people would turn around and go to aquapolis, Torrevieja like we should have done. I asked him about injury risk information and the comparison between age and height reflecting his policies, he couldn’t answer and just kept referring me back to the manufacturer of the slides which are guidelines. If they were about safety and injury risk then they’d do something about the change rooms which are smooth tiled floors in a wet area with no signage, hazard matting, or non slip adhesive strips. My daughter slipped several times trying to get changed; they’re a lawsuit waiting to happen. Go somewhere else. These guys are not about enriching your child’s fun experience, they are about...
Read moreFood available was a reasonable price and whole area tidy however, they are the only positives. Been here for 4 hours and the lifeguards are constantly walking round telling us what we can't do. Although they advertise the fact you can bring your own food and drink, you're not allowed anything in a tin. You're not allowed to move chairs, sunbeds or tables. You're not allowed to leave the children in the kids pool even if you're on the side (you have to be in with them). There are height restrictions on the water slides which are well out, small slides are 1M but our daughter was measured last week for school and was 109cm. And the cherry on the cake is we were told not to hang any towels up to shade our babies, even though we explained we were trying to shield them from the sun. Too many rules for a kids water park, 2 families walked out in the first 30 mins with s full refund after paying 11 Euro's for each of their children who couldn't...
Read morewe were very disappointed with the water park. our biggest disappointment was reserving sunbeds even though they are hardly used. we were not provided with sunbeds during our entire several hour visit. the most daring customers even booked several sun loungers and a dining table. customer service doesn't get praise either. the owner wasn't really interested in the customer's feedback, but when I went to discuss the matter, he threw up his hands and told me he couldn't do anything about it. according to what he said, it's okay for them even if chairs are reserved even if there aren't any and they're not interested even if some have to stand in the area. choose another option. you can't leave the water park sometimes and money other than cash is accepted inside. I can't recommend the water...
