Restaurante Chino Wan Yuan — Restaurant in Torrevieja

Staff are rude. We went in a few days ago just me my partner and our baby. We were the only ones in and got seated fine. The waitresses was more interested in her phone walking round taking selfies than us. After finally getting our orders taken our starters came out then about 5 minutes later while we were still eating out mains we're braught to the tablet with the waitress still son the phone under her shoulder and then dumped our plates on the table. Another couple came in shortly after and must have been sat there 15 mins without nobody coming to do a check back with us or to notice they had arrived. We quickly finished up and left. The food was good as usual but the service was patchy and disappointing. There is not enough staff and our food was brought pretty haphazardly and occasionally I felt the dishes were almost thrown onto the table rather than placed there. It has also become customary to be offered a small drink when the bill is paid. Although we saw other customers being given these complimentary drinks we didn't receive one until we asked for it. Our party was fairly large and our tip was generous in proportion to the bill so there was no reason not to offer a drink. This restaurant looks like nothing from the outside, in fact we walked past it many many times. What a mistake that was. The food in here is as good as you can get, seriously it's that tasty. The service is first class, the atmosphere is relaxed, just the way it should be. Toilets are lovely too.You can choose to eat inside or on the terrace outside, we did both this week.
