Absolutely horrific experience. Be warned. It closed down for a while and has had a refurb and change of owners. Totally different menu but trading off the old owners good name. It started with a rude waiter. A long wait for a meal. Then the starter and main meal came out at the same time. The waiter rolled his eyes when we said we want starters first. They'd missed two of the starters from the order so some of our party just had to accept the main whilst the others had their main dish sat beside them whilst they ate their starter. We asked for parmesan. We got an eye roll and a huff. We asked for a fork to eat a meal with and got another snarky response. Who needs cutlery? The atmosphere was hostile. The waiter was furious we dared to ask for our entrees first. Good job we didn't order dessert or it would all be out together. 3 courses sat in front! He did not want to wait on us. He said that's not his it works the kitchen don't know that we want starters first. We had no offer for more drinks as he started avoiding us. The food was lukewarm at best. Like something you'd make in the microwave. The prices were high. The service was downright hostile and the worst I have EVER experienced.
The table beside us sat down, looked at the awful new menu and high prices and just left. I wish we had done that.
With this kind of service, it won't last...
Read moreWe thought we would try this place now it has changed hands...we loved the old owners...We absolutely love this new updated version. 💗
Mario our lovely waiter knew the new streamlined menu inside out. He was great fun and made our experience here lovely!
We had the pan y alioli to start. Drizzled with oil and nicely crisp bread. Homemade alioli and tomato.
Corden Blue, seabass and carbonara for the mains. All impeccably made with the right accoutrements for each meal.
Desserts all handmade with the finishing touches.
Will definitely be coming back.
Thank you Mario and team. Well....
Read moreFirst time visit since the restaurant has re-opened and it was fabulous, All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, Mario is a star, he served us with a smile, nothing was too much trouble and he has a great sense of humour. I chose the cordon blur it was sublime, well seasoned and the cheese oozed out, the vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked, freshly shaved parmesan on the side salad was a nice touch. For dessert I had the manzana millefuille which was homemade and one of the most spectacular desserts I've ever had. Great place, we will certainly...
