Almazara — Restaurant in Turre

Over the years the menu has never changed or the specials. Having been my favourite place it has slipped further and further towards oblivion. What was an enjoyable outing slowly became dreaded and indeed now I stopped going there over a year ago. At times the customer base reminds me of everything I disliked about many weatherspoons venues in the UK. A real shame, a fantastic building with real potential shame I cannot ever remember there being hot water to wash your hands in the lavatories, ice is strictly rationed and coffee made using the jug of hot milk reheated many many times and on my last few visits the friendly smiles had eroded into...

Fantastic place, I'm so happy I found this restaurant. A lovely family own this restaurant, their son did a great job of looking after us, the home cooked food was devine. We ordered spaghetti Bolognese for our children which we all loved. My husband ordered the pig cheeks and I ordered Lamb shanks, all the meals were delicious! Lovely lunch, with delicious food and friendly service.

We parked here and walked to Iglesia de Theresa and back for lunch. We sat outside in the November sunshine and had a very relaxed lunch. Our host was very helpful and his wife in the kitchen produced delicious food, including the daily special shown below.
