I arrived very late at Hotel La Brasa after having car troubles and asked if they had any rooms available. The person at the desk said they had one room left for €140. With nowhere else to go, I reluctantly accepted.

Later, I checked online and saw the same room listed for €80–€100, which made me feel taken advantage of—especially as it seemed clear I was in a desperate situation. When I contacted the hotel, they claimed I had booked the “superior suite.” But there was nothing superior about it: a small room with a double bed, overlooking extractor fans and rubbish bins.

Breakfast was included, but it consisted of packaged pastries and coffee—hardly anything worth mentioning, and certainly not enough to justify the price.

Looking through other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who’s had this kind of experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place and suggest looking elsewhere if you want honest service and...

LO TENGO QUE RECOMENDAR PARA NO SER EL ÚNICO ¡JURO POR LOS CLAVOS DE CRISTO QUE NO VOY A EXAGERAR CON ESTE COMENTARIO Y TRATARÉ DE NO SER TAN VISCERAL! PARA COMENZAR 1.-Ensalada de tomate con aguacate 11,50€...Literalmente 8 radiografías de tomate con unos tacos de ajo más gruesos que el mismo borde del plato en el que venían servidos y el aguacate lo voltearon para que no se viera lo negro que traía por dentro 2.- 1/2 ración de chorizos 7€ vinieron 6 chorizos del tamaño de una pulgada que no estaban mal (obviamente son chorizos y ya sería el colmo que los dañaran) 3.- 2 intentos de Entrecot a 22€ cada uno supuestamente hechos a la brasa, sin sal ni sabor a nada y además casi 45 minutos de espera para tal decepción 🫤 y digo intentos de Entrecot porque en la Alpujarra te los puedes comer a 18€ y por lo menos con 200g más de peso 4.- Pido expresamente a el camarero que NO QUIERO DE ACOMPAÑANTE PATATAS FRITAS, sino, solo vegetales. Y a que no adivinan con qué me acompañaron los Entrecots? Siiiii con patatas fritas, pero lo más cumbre fue el comentario cuando retiran los platos, uno de los camareros preocupado me preguntó si me ponía las patatas para llevar y le dije que no porque había pedido vegetales, NO PATATAS FRITAS 🍟 y el otro camarero simplemente dijo "ah sí, es que se equivocaron adentro", pero vamos a ver mi niño...si sabes que se equivocaron adentro para que me traes el plato a la mesa, devuélvete y pelea con el que está en la cocina, porque la cara la pones tú no él. 5.- Para despertarme de la somnolencia por la espera de la carne y darle un voto de confianza a los camareros, pedimos 2 manchadas "templadas". Entiendo que templada es un punto medio entre caliente y frío, no entre frío y helado...eso sí, el café estaba casi a la par de las cervezas que me tomé que esas si que estaban frescas

MI OPINIÓN PERSONAL Les sobran demasiados metros de restaurante y cocina para la calidad de comida que sirven y se están cargando algo que supongo tiene una reputación que quiero creer que antiguos empleados de verdad ponían el pecho por un buen servicio

MI RECOMENDACIÓN PERSONAL: POR FAVOR CAMBIEN AL CHEF/COCINERO QUE SE NOTA QUE NO LE INTERESA ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA NI LA CALIDAD NI LA VIDA DEL RESTAURANTE
