Chringuito La Isla "Bar...Tolo" — Restaurant in Vélez-Málaga

What an amazing find, we were on our way to San Jose and had an early flight. These guys were amazing, not only did they open the kitchen early for us, they served us amazing food and gave us recommendations to.

We nearly ordered way too much as usual, but they advised us not to, which we were happy about as we still ordered to much anyway. The pink fish was really nice as were the tomatoes and honey aubergines.

We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures as they arrived.

The toilets were nice and clean too, and it would have been nice to have a bit more time here to experience the beach...

It appears if you are a tourist and don’t speak Spanish fluently you will be server horrible food, Grilled Prawns were just boiled they didn’t even bother adding a sauce, tuna tomato and garlic salad had just a few tomatoes and some tuna in the middle, Squid rings were chewy and also they didn’t include sauce just a quarter of a lemon, a fried chicken appeared to be undercooked yet it was the best out of all the dishes if you can even call them that. I will never ever come here with my family again you shouldn’t go here either also the staff doesn’t speak almost...

No service at all. We were sitting there for 30 minutes, and they ignored us. They don't speak English or French.

Not friendly at all, I hope it were just Spanish students. However, we should blame the management for such behavior...
