OMG this is a place to visit!! I could have died an gone to heaven after this lunch.. the gnocchi were as light as fluffy clouds and the carpaccio of beef melted in the mouth… try the bruschetta too …t’was a real delight … mimosas for my better half and de Veranos for me.. been coming to Torre del Mar for over 20 years and after reading a rave review we gave it a try!!! Not disappointed… lovely friendly service also … we leave for uk tomorrow otherwise would be back every day!! 😂😂 If you want a gastronomic tour of Torre this is a must !! We returned to Spain again after 18 months and had to eat here twice in 9 days!!! Not easy with limited off season opening times! The food and service were still impeccable with some lovely specials and two of the best desserts we have ever had!! Can’t rate this spot highly enough! Another year, another visit and we weren’t disappointed in the quality of food or the friendly welcome received! Carpaccio of beef was tender and delicious and the accompanying focaccia helped soak up the tasty juices and Dijon?dressing. Aubergine ravioli and (I know I should have tried something new but when you have been dreaming about something for a long time you gotta go with it !) the gnocchi went down very well indeed as expected! Take a seat and enjoy the relaxed service and gastronomy delights that await you!! Brought my fussy eating daughter this time and she loved the ravioli too sauce was fresh and zingy tomato perhaps with lemon init? Carpaccio of beef was terrific again with artichoke rices too I think this time ! I’m afraid I plumped for my usual nocci dish but wasn’t disappointed as it was as delicious creamy and heartwarming as ever ! Only one pudding on today… but you can’t complain when it’s as good as their tiramisu … it picked me up and took me to heaven !! This is the best place to eat in the entire Spain. We were there 3 times during our 2 day stay in the area last year and we wanted to go back this Monday, ready to drive 3h one way, but it's closed. The pasta was mind-blowing. I was crying while eating ravioli, it was literally the best thing I have ever tried. The food is simple but honest, very fresh and full of taste. I highly recommend this place run by a married couple from Italy. The girl is so welcoming and nice and the guy is standing behind this heavenly kitchen. I recommend making a reservation if you are planning on eating in the standard Spanish time, but we were also able to get a table without it. I will come back every chance...

Wow! Incredibly delicious authentic Italian food in Torre del Mar. We love it when we find a new favorite restaurant. The owners, Damian and Carolina L’assaggio, treat their guests like family. We shared the starter called “cucurucho” (see photo and menu). Then, we ordered three entrees, all were absolutely delicious: Ravioli de Mortadella y patata en crema de queso parmesana; Curugliones de Cerdeña and; Ñorquis Norcina.
