Exceptional Food and Service – A Valle Gran Rey Gem! This restaurant is a true delight, offering both exceptional service and truly memorable food. The grilled Tuna I ordered was, without a doubt, the standout tuna dish I've experienced in Valle Gran Rey. It was cooked masterfully – achieving a delightful crispness on the exterior while remaining perfectly moist and flaky inside. While tuna has a natural salinity, the delectable sauce served with it created an absolutely superb flavour combination. As a dedicated falafel fan (my gold standard being an amazing Syrian recipe from my favorite hometown restaurant), I was intrigued to see it. I requested a single piece to sample, and it was genuinely outstanding! I'm already looking forward to ordering the full falafel plate on my next visit. We also indulged in the Vegetarian Paella, and it was flawless. There's really no other way to describe it. With its wonderfully friendly and respectful staff, incredible food, and prime location, this restaurant earns my highest recommendation....

Das Molino ist für mich nach der Anreise die erste Anlaufstelle. Egal wann ich hier war (2016, 2022 und nun 2025) wurde ich immer sehr freundlich bedient - so auch meine Eltern, wenn sie hier sind. Selbst als ich 2022 nachmittags einen Tisch zum Zeichnen im Schatten belegte, wurde ich nicht verscheucht, sondern wir haben uns nett unterhalten.

Sowohl in Deutschland wie auch International gehen wir sehr viel Essen. Die Gerichte im Molino sind einfach lecker und die Desserts ein Traum - ich freu mich schon auf das nächste Mousse de Gofio! Zuletzt hatte ich das Menü für 20€ mit Brunnenkressensuppe (Vorspeise), gegrilltem Thunfisch mit Salzkartoffeln (Hauptspeise) und die Mousse au Chocolate (Dessert).

Ich persönlich mag die Lokale, die ohne viel "Schischi" die hiesige Küche bishin zur Hausmannskost der Region anbieten - das ist für mich authentisch. Ich finde es unangemessen einem jahrzehntelang bestehenden Restaurant solch unreflektierte Kommentare zu schreiben. Doch durfte ich selbst schon die Erfahrung machen, dass sich mancher Gast (egal in welchem Restaurant) nicht bewusst ist in welcher Art Gastronomie er/sie gedenkt zu speisen. Somit prallen Erwartung und Realität aufeinander. Was ich damit meine ist, dass das Molino kein fünf Sterne Restaurant mit gehobener Küche ist. Daher erwarte ich auch nicht, dass der gegrillte Thunfisch außen angebraten und innen noch roh ist.

Zu den Kommentaren bzgl. des Tafelweins kann ich nur sagen. Wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil. Geschmäcker sind verschieden, daher kann man höflich um ein Schluck zum Probieren bitten bevor man einen halben Liter bestellt - doch hierfür bedarf es der Kommunikation und eines gewissen...
