El Kiosco Garajonay — Restaurant in Vallehermoso

We popped in at 18:00 on a Monday in early September. There were only 2 other people in the bar, although a few others arrived during the 1.5 hours we were there. Takeaway pizza seemed popular with the locals.The owner was very welcoming and patient with our basic Spanish. We drank Cruzcampo on draught, which is very refreshing. We ordered 'crazy potatoes' (chips with sauces), and one portion between us was plenty. This was followed by Arapas, which we had not tried before. We ordered Domino (black beans) and Sifrina (cheese and veg). They were delicious and very filling. The coriander (cilantro) sauce was lovely. The food and 3 drinks each came to €25, which we thought very reasonable. I'm sure we'll be back before...
