Burger Pepe — Restaurant in Vega de San Mateo

We went because of the high reviews but i have no idea how it has such a good rating. The food is really terrible, the majority went in the bin. The burger was completely dry, any flavour it once had was long gone. Lots of very dry ingredients with less than a teaspoon of sauce. Absolutely no thought went into the quality or flavour. The fries were soggy, barely warm and covered in watery sauce and cold, non-fresh, processed toppings.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's probably the worst burger I've ever had, really...

:) Good prices. Open Sunday evenings. If your lucky to get some of the few seats inside on a colder evening it is very nice. Very nice interior design. Sauces are the very sugar laced Canary Island's ketchup and mustards etc. Fast service, paper plates etc. Main bus station of San Mateo is about a city block or 3 minute walk away. almost, if not cheaper than buying the ingredients yourself and making the dishes while being as good or more than any other restaurant. a massive croissant (vegetable with tuna one) with a lot of stuff and a chicken burguer for only 6.80€
