NHAO Resto-Bar — Restaurant in Vera

We visited 21/10/22. Fabulous location overlooking beach. We sat inside which is decorated very stylishly with well spaced comfortable tables. Service from start to finish was so friendly and welcoming. The bacon tapa starter is absolutely gorgeous. Crispy bits of bacon similar to small pieces of belly pork. We then had the octopus which was again so tasty but slightly firm for our liking. The highlight was the two main dishes. We had the jamon with three fried eggs and fried potato slices along with the Caesar salad. Both were superb but we probably ordered too much as we simply could not eat it all ! To be honest, the bacon, Caesar salad and ham and eggs would have been sufficient. However, that was our fault and the lady serving us actuality advised us not to order any more which was so professional and a lovely touch. We had a lovely bottle of Argentinian Malbec to wash all this down. Been here twice now during our stay and would totally recommend this place. It’s fabulous food served by really welcoming staff. My partner and I dined here with my parents last night, and I was blown away by how exceptional the entire experience was.

Jaon, Hosam, and the rest of the team took wonderful care of us—offering thoughtful recommendations, staying attentive throughout the evening, and making us feel genuinely welcome. The food was next level. Having worked in fine dining in London, I can be a bit critical of both food and service, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations at every turn.

While every dish we tried was excellent, a few stood out: The Argentinian empanada—a perfectly crisp crust with a moist, flavorful filling. The gamba main course—beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The pork ribs—generously meaty with a well-balanced sauce.

I could go on, but I’ll stop here and just say you MUST try this restaurant.

Hear me out — this place is a gem!

It was our third time at the Resto-bar, and it was just as amazing as the first. The service is consistently excellent, with friendly, attentive staff who really make you feel welcome. The food? Fantastic. Every dish we've tried has been full of flavor and made with care.

One thing I really appreciate is the menu — it’s not an eight-page essay, and that’s a good thing. It’s a perfect example of “less is more.” Each item feels well thought out and expertly executed.

The atmosphere is warm with a stylish yet cozy setting. It’s the kind of place you don’t just eat at — you enjoy being there.

As you can probably tell from the photos below (or lack thereof), I couldn’t even wait to snap a picture before digging in. That’s how good it was.
