Bad hospitaly - there were two places to eat, drink at t his lovely, hidden, but well known beach thus crowded, and we chose the one which had advirtesment tables out for sangria etc. Wanted to drink something during the hot of the day with some snacks. The place was half empty, but when we ordered the old lady probably owner of the place was outraged that the place was a restaurant. Despite the bread was not even fresh later on when we decided to eat something and we indicated it to another waitress -who emphasized again that this was a restaurant and told the old one that we would like to order, nobody came to take our order. When we finished our drinks wanted to pay but still they refused to come to the table so finally I went to the cashier to emd up this ridiculuos performance where the old lady still was arguing that my friend told we did not want to eat more. Really unpleasant experience about Spanish hospitality! And this was a place where people specifically go to enjoy the beach, not downtown Madrid. I wish we had chosen the other restaurant on the beach. Maybe they have fresh...

Today we went to this restaurant. Honestly this was the worst of our whole trip. To start, the patatas bravas were bad. The sauce was way too spicy. You know, that’s okay, personal preference I guess.

But in all our food we found 4 hairs. I think that’s dirty, so we told the employee. The employee took the owner to our table and he told us we were lying and that’s impossible that a hair of the cook is in the food. He was very angry. If he just apologized we were totally fine, but he was just being super rude. We gave him even a tip from 5 euro’s, but he didn’t accept it and said ‘no gracias’.

The food was also way too expensive if you campare it to all the other restaurants in the region. So folks, don’t go to...

No me ha gustado este lugar.

Tenía reserva para las 15:00. Nos hemos sentado a las 15:20. Bueno, esas cosas pueden pasar cuando tienes gente terminando de comer en la mesa que te tienes que sentar...

Teníamos encargada una paella de arroz negro para 3. Entiendo que si mi reserva de mesa es a las 15:00, como muy tarde la paella debería llegar a las 15:30-15:45. Nos la han puesto a las 16:15.

Previo a la paella hemos pedido unos calamaret. Venían sin limpiar bien, es decir con las tripas que normalmente todo el mundo quita de dentro de los calamares... He pensado que igual por la zona se comen así... Porque también estaban poco hechos, pero eso es una apreciación personal. Lo que si es verdad es que no estaban muy calientes.

Cuando nos han traído la paella, la hemos notado salada, y el arroz estaba un poco duro, tampoco estaba muy caliente, pero como le pusimos un poco de Ali Oli, pensamos que igual era por eso, pero no... Estaba salada. Viendo la hora que era, no podíamos hacer otra cosa nada más que comer, sino era esperar a comer más tarde e íbamos con 3 niñas.

Se lo dijimos a una camarera, que al ver lo que habíamos sacado de arroz de la paellera nos dice que se lo teníamos que haber dicho antes (porque estaba a mitad después de sacar 3 platos de arroz) y nos hubieran hecho otra, o pedíamos otra cosa, pero volvemos a lo mismo, tendríamos que esperar. Le decimos que bueno, que aún estando salada hacemos un esfuerzo por comerla, porque nos da cosa tirar la comida y ella nos dice que lo solucionará.

Su solución ha sido cobrar 1 ración menos.

La atención de los camareros no es mala, aunque quizá el servicio un poco lento, que es entendible si se tiene el bar lleno. (Aunque para cuando yo me senté ya no había tanta gente)

Conclusión: Un día malo lo tiene cualquiera, pero fuimos por recomendación y a mi no se me ocurriría recomendar un sitio así para comer arroz, en Valencia los hay mucho mejores,...
