I used to like the oyster and some of the dishes in the weekend buffet line, but I must say the quality of the ingredients has been dropped so much these days. We went to the restaurant on the past Sunday and I'm beyond disappointed on the quality.
First of all, there is nothing special about the main dish option. I finished only half of it.
Secondly, the buffet line is average. While the star of the show used to be oysters. They now served irregularly super small oysters, like they all haven't been grown up properly, in the size of Swedish coin. I feel being scammed. I can taste that they are not fresh and the worst thing is now me and another 5 friends are home with an upset stomach, been puking, feeling cold, and shaking with fever for whole day.
The things I can positively comment are staffs, the atmosphere, and the desserts.
This place can be a nice place for people who visite for nice Instagram photos but nothing more than that. I visited for the cuisine experience. With that said, this will be the last time I choose this restaurant. Nothing worst than the restaurant that gave you...
Read moreWe were here for the Saturday Brunch and had a pretty mediocre experience. Definitely nothing you'd expect from a Hotel like Jacy'z.
The service personnel seem to have a bad or no system in place to serve the food and drinks at the right time. While some of us got what they ordered pretty soon others waited 20minutes until their stuff was served. One remaining coke which was ordered as the first drink was brought to the table when we were about to pay and already gave up on the coke long ago. But ok that can happen.
In terms of the food we must say that the main mid sized dishes were okay and some even very good. But the food from the buffet was below all expectations. Very mushy, overcooked, and cold Mac'n'Cheese, hard bagels, mediocre Ceviche, ...
It seems like Archie's management either doesn't have a high standard or they don't do a good job in quality assurance. A bit sad considering the atmosphere of the restaurant is...
Read moreWe went there for their Sunday brunch buffet, I was worried due to bad reviews here but it turned out to be pretty ok. Hot section was rather good, egg dishes were also ok, cold cuts was better than many hotel breakfast buffets, dessert options were plenty (coffee included). Drinks are not included in the price, drink menu did not show basic drinks like coffee, juices... One of us ordered orange juice but it was not good, the ones who ordered Bellini was not overly happy either. You have your brunch on your table, when you are done, you can move to the lobby for dessert buffet, so you don't feel the time pressure. We went at 12 o'clock, so it was not so busy, we did not have to queue up. I suppose it will be up to you to decide whether it is...
