Sweet N' Spicy Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

My husband is English and we had an appointment at Migrationsverket yesterday (March 2022) and were desperately looking for some nice place to eat in the area. We saw the ratings for Sweet N' Spicy and thought maybe we should go elsewhere, but didn't have enough time on our hands and boy am I happy we didn't. When we got there we had missed the lunch buffet so I ordered the Red Curry, my husband ordered the Massaman curry and for our 4-year old daughter, the kind lady who runs the restaurant offered to make a children's portion of one of the fried rice dishes. Both curries were so flavourful, the ingredients felt fresh and it was all so tasty. Our daughter loved the fried rice, and it was an extra bonus for her to be able to watch the lady cook the dishes from scratch in 3 big woks. If you're after ambiance for a romantic dinner in the evening, it's maybe not your place, but if you're after a really good quality Thai meal that's super tasty in the daytime - then this is definitely your place! chicken was old and dry. Shrimp also tastes old. It was a terrible experience once again. There was no eggs or peanuts in my pad Thai. Ordered here a couple of times but the conclusion is that the quality is consistently bad. Will never take food...

Jag har nu besökt Thai Samila flera gånger, och varje gång har det varit en upplevelse utöver det vanliga! Atmosfären är varm och välkomnande, personalen är alltid vänlig och serviceminded, vilket gör att man känner sig riktigt hemma. Maten är utan tvekan det som gör Thai Samila till en verklig höjdpunkt. Varje rätt är noga tillagad med uppmärksamhet på smaker och presentation, och det märks att de använder sig av fräscha och högkvalitativa ingredienser.
