Tigris Kolgrill — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

It doesn’t feel as a restaurant, but more as a fast-food place. Service level is so low that it is hard to call it service. Food was not bad. 3 of 5.

Have been there two times. Both times service was so bad that it is hard to call it service. First time we waited 20 minutes just to get the menu which was funny considering that you have been seated there. By the way, the restaurant was almost empty. The second time was today and it looks to be the last time we went there. We were seated almost at the door by not really clean table and while I went to wash my hands they took half of the table from us. So family of 3 was supposed to enjoy dinner at the table 60x50 cm with plate sizes close to 30cm. It was that loud that we couldn’t hear each other even at this amazingly big table. Ordered “kuzu sis (marinerad)” and enjoyed the taste of fresh and delicious food. I took ayran as a drink. The rice on side was very fresh, I have never seen restaurants to be able to make this fresh rice.

The service and atmosphere were very good. It was not very crowded. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. You may feel the taste of Turkish cuisine in this restaurant.

I really enjoyed my lunch here, sure the location isnt the most apealing but inside its almost an oasis. Good price for a lunch! Like that it includes sallad, drink and coffe/tea. Been to other places that serves the same kind of food but dont even include tapwater so + for Tigris. Had really good falafel 👌🏻 with humus. Yummm.. The staff was really friendly and didnt seam to be botherd that I sat there for a really long time studying /taking up a table. Haha. Will be back to try more 😄love this...
