We had the pleasure of enjoying the lunch buffet at Yummy Ceylon in Gothenburg, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely delicious and tasted exactly like authentic Sri Lankan cuisine — which is incredibly rare to find in Europe. From string hoppers to roti and flavorful curries, every dish brought back the real taste of home.

Everything was freshly prepared and well-balanced with spices. The owner was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was excellent, and the whole dining experience was smooth and pleasant.

Today I went for a takeaway lunch, and this Yummy Ceylon shop is absolutely amazing! The food is incredibly tasty and authentic, making you feel like you're right in Sri Lanka with every bite. Their variety is fantastic, offering everything from hoppers, string hoppers, noodles, roti, rice and curry, koththu, and fried rice, to a full buffet with salads, Swedish dishes, and even pasta. We visited for lunch on a Saturday, and it wasn’t too busy, so there was plenty of seating and parking available. We tried the Chicken Kottu, Hoppers and Nasi Goreng, which were absolutely fantastic!
