Mel's Diner — Restaurant in Gotland Municipality

I tried this restaurant's hamburger previously via Foodora, but it was cold, so I waited to rate it..After trying the meal (grass feed +halloumi) inside the restaurant, the flavor and impression were the same! Well the bread was fresh, the hamburger was cooked perfectlly but lacking in flavor! The sauce inside was also lacking flavor .. The fried potatoes were dry (due to being heated several times) or perhaps because it was fried on a high temperature! And the onion rings...

One of the best dining experiences. Upon entering the dinner you are immediately transported back to a typical American 70/80’s dinner setup. And every feels like you are living the past. You can order food directly at the console upon the entrance or at the main reception desk area. Service was really nice and quick. There is a lot of seating space and The food was great!! Overall a fun experience to grab a bite.

Do visit this for a very 80’s vibe and a delicious budget...

Mel’s Diner has been such an amazing experience. The aesthetic inspired by the typical American restaurants of the 50's is totally achieved, for a moment you forget that you are on a Swedish island in the middle of the Baltic. The quality-price ratio is wonderful considering that you are in Sweden, 95 crowns for a burger with fries and a soft drink. The hamburger was spectacular...
