Käk Thai — Restaurant in Helsingborgs kommun

The staff is nice and friendly. The resturant itself was relatively clean when I was there although the condiments such as the grinder with chilli flakes and the bottle with sweet soy sauce were both greasy and dirty when I used them. We were a couple of friends that went there and we all ordered something different from the menu but our opinions were all the same which was good. The price was fair and competitive while the portions were good with me and all of my friends feeling satisfied and full afterwards. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend to come in and try if you like thai food, one of the best and tastiest thai food restaurants...

So far the best Thai food in Helsingborg! Very helpful and well behaved staff with adequate knowledge about what they are serving. Prompt about cooking. Most food is made after you order so customization is possible in most cases. We mostly ordered in but the place is a little small and you might want to sit outside. Käk Thai är ett ställe som jag har passerat många gånger, men aldrig fått för mig att gå in till. Det är en liten byggnad som ser lite sliten ut, så man har svårt att tro att det skulle få plats en thairestaurang – och dessutom en bra sådan – inuti.

Men doften som sprids från lokalen går inte att ta miste på, och recensionerna var väldigt positiva, så jag bestämde mig för att prova. Och oj, det här var bra. Det här var riktigt bra!

Jag har aldrig varit i Thailand, men jag föreställer mig att det är så här "riktig" thaimat kan smaka. Mina thaifavoriter i Helsingborg är annars Thai Corner (inte minst för deras vitlöksmarinerade oxfilé) och Phuun Thai, men maten på Käk Thai känns mer hemlagad. Förmodligen för att den i princip är det.

För här ser maten ut att lagas från grunden på beställning. All tillagningsyta används maximalt. Portionerna är varken jättestora eller jättesmå, utan precis lagom. Det är även tydligt skyltat vad som är glutenfritt eller ej. Det går att äta på plats, men jag tror de flesta kör takeaway.

Detta får bli högsta betyg. En kombination av god och unik smak, bra priser och ett läge precis vid parken. Hoppas fler upptäcker och stöttar...
