OXO Beach House — Restaurant in Jönköpings kommun

We booked a table for four in advance, but upon arrival, our table was not ready or properly prepared. When we were finally seated, the table was still dirty and missing cutlery—several knives and forks were not provided.

The staff were friendly and apologised, mentioning they were busy, although the restaurant did not seem particularly crowded at the time. We ordered starters, main courses, a bottle of wine, and one additional drink per person. The starters were very good, but the main courses were only average and did not meet our expectations.

We requested water early on, but it was not brought to the table until the very end—only after we reminded the staff again. All the cocktails we ordered were disappointing in taste; I would suggest sticking to standard drinks like beer or wine, which are more consistent in quality.

We were there for Saturday brunch. The food selection was an immaculate mix of traditional food to more exciting things (such as bao buns and ceasar salad), everything was high quality, beautiful to both mouth and eyes and very trendy. The location has a beautiful view of the sea and has an amazing atmosphere in sense of trendy cutlery, tables and a true high quality feeling. The service people were great, once I had taken coffee and the milk was out, then at my table I merely mentioned it to my company and less than a minute later a waitress came rushing over with a milk cup. Oxo Beach House is a true refreshment on the coast! The ambiance is modern, tastefully decorated, and ideal for complete relaxation with a view of the sea. The staff is extremely friendly and professional.

The food was delicious, fresh, and varied – highly recommended. The cocktails were perfectly made, and the music created the perfect atmosphere for enjoying both day and night.
