The location of the restaurant is somewhere you do not often find yourself at, but since we were close we visited for a weekend buffet.
If you have ever eaten at some other place that serves the same type of food, it is clear to you the food is under average. The food is greasy and under seasoned, and not really fresh. Sauces are very slimy and I did not recognise any taste of peanuts in the peanut sauce. To make it worse, I found a hair in the chicken so I left the full plate of food untouched, for which I was scared to get charged for as written on notes around the restaurant.
Personnel is all the time watching your every move. We quickly left the place and think the price is way too high for what you are offered. I can’t recommend this place unfortunately, just choose something...

Every dish was a sad, bland, oily mush, with spices so off-balance it felt like the chef threw them in blindfolded from across the street.
As for the price: it’s daylight robbery. I would have been less offended if they just mugged me in the street and told me to go home.
The best part of the meal? Leaving.
Avoid at all costs. If you’re curious about Tibetan food, find literally any other place. Or better yet, just stay home and eat instant noodles .it’ll be tastier, cheaper, and you won’t need a shower afterward to feel...
Read moreThe only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of the ambience. Here, you need to pay for water which comes in a jug or cup, depending on how many people there are. There was a variety to choose from but I was really dissatisfied with every food I tasted. Almost everything was salty. When we decided to have dessert (strawberry ice cream), that didn't fare better either. I usually like to take my time in an Asian restaurant, especially one that offers buffet. Unfortunately, Potala didn't fall into this category. There's a patio outside for you who would love some fresh air. But as I said, ambience is the only thing this place has got going. I won't be visiting again...
