I used to work in Erbil back in the days teaching French. What i enjoyed most during my stay was the amazing Kurdish food and hospitality. Since then I have been looking around for Kurdish restaurants in Europe whenever i go on a trip. I was first a bit skeptical because it's a really big place and not so many people were visiting the restaurant. But i must say, it really topped my expectations! It was the most authetic Kurdish food I have been earing in Europe! The rice was prepared to perfection, the meat tenderly mealting, the grilling flavors overwhelming, the owner very hospitable, and the girl at the cashier always had a smile on her face.

I will definitely come back when i visit...

Fawlty Tower’s Style. Wrong food served. Angry staf member that blame each other in front of the customer.

Basil Fawlty might even have made a better appearance at this joint. Then you might have had a funny time for the money spent.

Food’s ok if you’re not picky about it being different from the menu.

Plenty of seating for that grand family.

Check the bill one extra time so you’re not paying twice for the same...

The lunch buffet was more expensive than the advertised price on the outside. They advertised more food, but there was actually very little to choose from. No other meat was available but powder-dry chicken and store-bought meatballs. Disappointing. I haven't tried other food but lunch buffet is definitely not...
