My visit to Ulriksdal Trädgårdscafé was a delightful and rejuvenating experience that perfectly complemented a day exploring the nearby Ulriksdal Palace and gardens. Nestled within the charming grounds of the palace, this café offers a tranquil retreat with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
From the moment I arrived, I was charmed by the café's picturesque setting. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant floral displays, the outdoor seating area provides a serene environment where you can enjoy your meal while taking in the beauty of the surrounding gardens. The ambiance is both relaxing and sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely brunch or afternoon tea.
The menu at Ulriksdal Trädgårdscafé features a delightful selection of fresh, seasonal dishes. I was particularly impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. The freshly baked pastries, locally sourced ingredients, and beautifully crafted sandwiches were a true treat for the taste buds. I enjoyed a delicious open-faced sandwich paired with a refreshing herbal tea, both of which were perfectly prepared and served with a touch of elegance.
The café staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests made me feel well taken care of. The service was prompt and courteous, adding to the sense of relaxation.
What stood out most was the café’s ability to create a harmonious blend of good food and beautiful surroundings. The combination of excellent cuisine, a charming setting, and attentive service made my visit to Ulriksdal Trädgårdscafé a truly enjoyable experience.

Read moreUlrikdalsträdgård is a unique and well needed brake everyone should treat themselves with every now and then. The place is an oasis for adults such as myself, a getaway to have that well longed tea with a friend to catch up with. The place is not far from Stockholm and always welcoming. Clients are meet with a welcoming sight of well arranged flowers and at every corner there are flowers, different colours and shapes, absolutly amazing and so good for the soul. The outdoors grounds are covered with apple-trees, veggies in the summer. There is a nice area for enjoying your picknick and a nice rage of area to enjoy a good time with your kids. The best times to enjoy the outdoor gardens is of course spring, summer and autumn. The shifts of the seasons will make itself noticed. And there is no one who does not need this feeling of being one with nature. The cafe is, well a cafe, ordinary in itself a few baked goods. Prices are of course on top of the rage which means that one must eat everything bought! The sitting areas are the best. There is a enought space between the tables to keep the covid-19 and ears away from what ever secrets one utter. And there area areas where a large enterty can gather for a meal. The WC facilities are OK, I am the kind of woman who enjoys a bigger WC. Regarding the fact that the place is filled with flowers, I would want to enjoy the WC even more with more ideas on how to fill out a WC with beautiful flowers. in My world, a world of flowers must be filled with flowers. More is always better. Finally, please do visit the garden,...
Read moreBeen coming here for years. The food is always good. The location is lovely, the building is unique and the setting is special. So why the two stars? There are three things that irritate me the poor attitude of the people on the till at the buffé. It makes it such a sour experience. I have never complained, but today I guess I hit my limit. When you smile and chat to people nicely, a simple courteousness and friendly return is much required. It makes life a little easier and make the day go round. I can’t for the life of me figure out what the problem is here. Why use milk when there are a hundred other options available? Cheaper ones, healthier ones, ones with no gluten, ones with no nuts. You name it. Cow milk in food is just not necessary anymore nor is egg. Paying 199kr for such a lovely lunch does not bother me. Having to become a part of the dishwashing team does. You know what I mean. I work super hard, have kids, have a business, study, help the elderly etc, I don’t really have time to join the team here on a part time basis every-time I come for lunch. This should be an easier process for guests who are having lunch here.
That said about the milk and the part-time dishwashing role, if people on the till could just be a little less rude that would make my day and could make it all alright. In over 40 visits here this has never changed. All my guests, friends, family have commented on it over the years. So the problem definitely exists.
Perhaps it is time to get to the root of what is fundamentally wrong here. Would be so nice if it...
