My experience with Standout Coffee was deeply disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish.
Hereโs the full timeline of what happened:
September 1: I placed order #17391, paid in full, and received an invoice confirmation immediately.
September 14: After nearly two weeks with no tracking number or shipping confirmation, I contacted Standout Coffee myself. Only then did they admit they had completely missed my order due to a postal code issue โ something I had to correct on my own.
September 15: I finally received a shipping confirmation.
September 18โ19: DHL showed the package leaving Sweden and arriving in Frankfurt, where it then got stuck indefinitely. It has not moved since.
Over the next few weeks (October 6, 7, 11, and 15), I sent several follow-up emails โ all ignored.
October 18: Oskar from the team finally replied, asking me to confirm my address and whether I preferred a refund or replacement.
October 19: I confirmed I wanted to receive the coffee itself, since I genuinely wanted to try it. Oskar then wrote that a new batch would be shipped on Monday, October 20.
However, after that, I heard nothing again. My follow-up emails on October 21 and 22 went unanswered โ once more, no tracking, no confirmation, no communication.
After weeks of silence and repeated emails, I finally received a refund today, but only after having to chase the company multiple times and detail every stage of the issue myself.
While I did eventually get my money back, the overall experience was extremely poor โ marked by missed follow-ups, unresponsiveness, and a lack of professionalism.
For a company positioning itself as a premium coffee roaster, this kind of service is completely unacceptable. Regardless of the refund, I will never order from Standout Coffee again, and I want to make sure other customers are aware of how badly this order was handled.
