My sambo and I had lunch here, and I was disappointed as I heard good things about the place from friends. The staff were friendly, but I expected better service for the price and reputation of the restaurant.

My biggest criticism of the place is the very stressed atmosphere: Crowded, stressed staff, average food.

My sambo had “Wallenbergare med sockerärtsallad, rarörda lingon, skirat smör och potatispuré” (205 kr), and I had “Krämig kycklinggryta med morötter, dijonsenap, timjan och havreris” (160 kr).

Don't let the "edgy" 6 foot tall photograph of their chef fool you. This is a resturant for grandmas. Not that theres anything wrong with that. Their music selection should warn you. The beer tastes a little dirty like the taps have never been cleaned. The food and presentation is really good considering its the same boring Swedish Grandma food everyone else serves. With the exception of the sauce on their shrimp & avacado salad. If they are saying it is home made they are lying. It tastes like it came out of a rusty can. Service is blah but what...

If you ever want to experience good quality Swedish Christmas food, i strongly recommend Långbro Värdshus. Chef Fredrik Eriksson and crew have a fantastic "Julbord" with a wide range of delicacies that not only makes your taste buds feast but it is a cosy experience for your eyes and your soul. Very kid friendly and the staff is super service minded. Amongst all the variety of Christmas food Chef Fredrik Eriksson surprises us with Långbro specialities and versions of the usually very traditional swedish Christmas food. Don't miss out...
