Lovely food, very flavourful, these guys are not afraid to add spice to the food! I ordered the hamburger called "grannamackan", amazing and unique burger, not using normal burgerpatties but what seemed like fried chicken. Lovely place with a nice outdoor seating area, retracting one star on atmosphere due to the traffic that passes by. The staff are very nice, lovely people, had to switch from norwegian to swedish for a few words to make communication easier. Food also arrived quite fast

A very nice restaurant on the other side of the river to the centrum. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and cozy with enough table, nice interior design. The staff have good knowledge about the food and nice service. The food is good nothing to complain but maybe a little bit cheaper could be nice, their skewers grill crunchy outside and soft inside, pistachio gelato is always a good choice. Overall a genuinely good choice for a nice dinner with your friends on special...

Granna Matbar är utan tvekan en av de bästa restaurangerna i Umeå – och den absolut bästa persiska restaurangen! Maten är helt fantastisk, särskilt deras grillmix-tallrik, som för cirka 500 kr inkluderar obegränsat med ris. En riktig smakupplevelse!

Sedan jag åt här första gången har det blivit ett självklart ställe att besöka varje månad. Det enda tråkiga är att fler inte känner till restaurangen ännu, vilket gör att grillmix-tallriken bara serveras på söndagar.

Atmosfären är toppen – lokalen är snyggt renoverad från att ha varit en snabbmatskedja och kiosk, och nu är det en mysig och stilfull restaurang. Personalen är dessutom otroligt trevlig och serviceinriktad, vilket gör upplevelsen ännu bättre.
