New management since last year. The place has kept its charm and the manager and staff are friendly. The good regional selection of wines offered remains a strong point (although I wish the open wine would not be all from the same winery, "Renaissance" when I visited).
While the dish presentation was nice, the cheese bread slice (croûte au fromage) I experienced was made with cheese that felt like gum. I hope they will correct this. Meanwhile the apple crumble...

New owner since late 2016. She's experimenting a bit with the menu at the moment. The Rösties and Gratins are out, pizzas are in, which takes away a bit of the charm of the place. On the other hand the interior is now a bit more organized so that the authentic Swiss charm of the place stands out more. The owner fluently speaks both English and French which is unique for the region.
Nieuwe eigenares/gerante? sinds eind 2016. Ze experimenteert nog wat met de kaart: geen rösties en gratins meer, pizza's zijn toegevoegd. Dat neemt een beetje weg van de authentieke Zwitserse charme van het restaurant maar aan de andere kant is het interieur nu wat beter georganiseerd (logischer en rustiger) wat de charme van het chalet dan weer beter tot zijn recht laat komen.
