We had a reservation for 2 people at 13:00. A very cold wind came up and it clouded over. We arrived at the restaurant at 12:47 and asked about the reservation and a very unfriendly man told us that our reservation was for 13:00 and that we had to wait outside. There were many empty tables inside. While we were waiting outside in the wind and cold, 2 people came and the unfriendly guy asked them if they had a reservation. They said no, and he gave them one of the empty tables inside. So we continued waiting outside in the wind. At 12:55, I went inside and asked another man, a little more friendly, how the criteria for tables was. He told me that the tables are assigned by the boss, the less friendly man. He came over and told me rudely that my table was still occupied, but that he was going to make an exception and give me another table. To which I replied, I don't care about where the table is, I just don't want to freeze to death outside. How can they be so structured and not change the table when they have plenty of empty tables. This inflexibility makes me never come back to this place. BTW the cremeschnitte is not as fantastic as advertised. The one at Motta in Lenzerheide is much better....
Read moreGreat place in the mountains, very good food (try Alpen-Sushi and for sure Cremeschnitte). Due to the number of people, service was slow; but nicely compensated with free coffees. I rate cleary 5 stars for our first visit in the afternoon. However, we wanted to go for dinner next evening and even checked if they are open. Website and Google said yes, so we reserved a table and got a confirmation by email. We walked up there which is quite a hike (btw, don't follow Google maps) just to realise that all doors are locked, nobody there 😭. We walked back to town and had very good dinner in a different place. Btw the reservation got cancelled at 22:45.

Read moreThere is something missing but difficult to put your finger on. Greeting is abrupt - do you have a reservation? Not hello, do you have a reservation! My reply was, no friends are already at a table - then asked again do I have a reservation. I know my spoken Germany is not good, but it is good enough at other restaurants! It is an outdoor restaurant in low season on a quiet day. Menu is nice big & bold, but in local Swiss Deutsch! Only had a large salad - which was excellent but expensive plus Jager tea which was basic. Toilet facilities are acceptable, tables are cleared regularly Overall, would I go back again - NO! Why because there is better service at other...
