Wir waren gestern mit Freunden im Restaurant Gotthard und hatten einen äußerst gelungenen Abend. Der Wintergarten ist sehr gemütlich und der Service konstant top! Gleiches gilt für die Küche, die wir seit knapp 10 Jahren regelmäßig genießen können. Die wechselnden Spezialitäten-Karten, von Spiess, Tartar, Wild u.v.m. sind ausnahmslos sehr fein, oft regional und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Leider war gestern nach dem Kalbsspiess kein Platz mehr für ein Dessert, welche immer ein Highlight sind. Die negativen Review´s mit Hinweis auf zu hohe Preise kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Man muss diese immer mit dem Preisniveau der Region vergleichen und da erhält man beim Gotthard, definitiv sehr hohe Qualität und schöne Weine zu einem absolut gerechtfertigten Preis.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen waren jedoch die etwas längeren Wartezeiten, da es recht voll war, und die Portionen könnten für den Preis etwas größer sein. Insgesamt aber ein tolles Erlebnis, das ich gerne weiterempfehle!

We happened upon this restaurant whilst staying in Goldau and what a find it was!! As we approached a brass band was playing to celebrate the landlady's birthday which was fabulous and created an amazing atmosphere. The landlord greeted us very warmly and made the effort to speak english to us as our german was very poor. All staff were so friendly and efficient and the food and beer was delicious. I would recommend to anyone in the area, also worth a trip if you are a little...

Gotthard is the best restaurant in Goldau and a worthy treat. We had the degustation menu which was both incredibly delicious and generous. Gluten-free spätzli is a thoughtful option we were very happy with. It's also so special to have 5 litre Amarone available by the glass....

Generally very nice in every way. The food is good quality prepared well, all typical Swiss cuisine (solid and tasty), the staff are lovely and their glasscovered outdoor sitting is charming.. Prices above average but not crazy. Probably the best place to eat in this part of...
