Liebe Frau Holdener, seit sieben Jahren in Folge sind wir nun schon im stillen Hochtal Avers. Zum ersten Mal jedoch wohnten wir in ihrem kleinen, feinen Hotel wo wir einen wunderschönen Panoramablick vom Zimmer aus genossen. Sehr herzlich war der Empfang über die Feiertage und wir logierten vom 29.Dezember bis 2.Januar mit unserem Hund Roschko in ihrem Haus. Das Sylverstermenue war eine Wucht und man spürt die Kreativität des Küchenchefs der mit Leidenschaft und viel Herzblut kocht. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und vor allem die Aufmerksamkeit von Melanie Holdener ist bemerkenswert. Authentisches Berghotel (2000m.ü.M) in einem ruhigen Bergthal. Genau der richtige Ort um einwenig Energie zu tanken und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Restaurant bietet super leckeres Essen gekocht aus regionalen Produkten (oft in Bio Qualität) an. Zudem gibt es gute Weine, Schnäpse und Bier aus der höchstgelegenen Brauerei von Europa. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und kompetent, man fühlt sich stets gut aufgehoben. Im Sommer kann man tolle Wanderungen in die unberührte Wildnis machen. Im Winter stehen zwei gemächliche Skilifte zur Verfügung, zudem kann man Schlitteln oder Schneeschuhlaufen gehen. Für Naturfreunde immer wieder ein Besuch wert!

Wie wärs vielleicht mit einem kalten Plättchen??? Überhaupt NICHTS! Das war bei den Vorbesitzern ganz anders. Suche nach einem andern Hotel in der Hauptferienzeit und Abreise. ABSOLUT NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT!!! Zu erwähnen: Einfachheit ist für uns KEIN Problem! Aber, mit Einfachheit hat das rein gar nichts zu tun. Da wird man als Gast verarscht...... DIE SUPERGUTEN BEWERTUNGEN KÖNNEN NUR DIE VORBESITZER BETREFFEN!

We arrived with a large group on a 2 day hiking trip and were greeted by Kai Uwe, the director of the hotel, with fresh cold lemon water. We stayed on the terrace until sunset and had some nice drinks and little bites to eat (delicous bread!!) and just looked at the wonderful calming landscape. The dinner which was served was absolutely delicious, fresh local products, good wine, and we fell into the comfortable beds satisfied and happy. The breakfast next morning was also really good, and we started our hiking tour (via Juf to Bivio, very recommendable) strenghtened and in good spirits. Kai Uwe took excellent care of us throughout, and the standing applause we gave him and the cook after dinner was more than deserved. Very reasonable...

We were at Bergalga just recently. Its a Spectacular place. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. Very quiet with all Switzerland can offer. Friendly and professional. The Chef and her wife ( Norman and Melanie) are lovely couples who are very nice. It's a very neat place. It's out of this world for the experience that you will have over there. Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing view and Food is just heaven.The meal is cooked with fresh stuff and love. And very delicious 😋 ❤️ and the apple cake was freshly baked. I will recommend this hotel to those who wants a rare unique experience. You will...
