Gasthaus Riedboden — Restaurant in Beatenberg

We've had a midday snack and a dinner here and the Gasthaus is awesome! We sampled their specials, wines, and menu items in our party of 5 and loved everything. Great swiss foods like rösti and traditional swiss pasta we devoured. The staff speaks at least 2 languages including English. The friendliest, warmest service we've had in 3 years of living in Switzerland. The food was excellent, hearty portions, and reasonably priced. The waitress and the chef came to each table to see how we were enjoying the delicious fare. They were welcoming of our tired dog, and flexibly kind as we moved inside as we got too cold to stay on the lovely terrace. I went only to the restaurant. Amazing comfort food, which is perfect for the cold Swiss weather. The view is breathtaking and on a nice day please sit outside and have your meal. The staff was very polite and spoke perfect English. They even had the English version of the menu. The place is frequnted by locals so you can be assured it is amazing. There is some parking available so you can park your car. This is in quite an isolated location ao you'll need a car to get there....
