Maharani Palace — Restaurant in Bern

I recently dined at Maharani Palace near the Wander Tram stop in Bern with my colleagues, making it the third Indian restaurant I've tried in the past two weeks. The restaurant isn't very spacious, with a limited number of tables, but it's thoughtfully arranged.

I love this place. Been there on multiple occasions at different times(lunch/dinner etc). The owners Preet and Sarb take very good care of you. Both are very hospitable and polite. I have tried chilly paneer, gemuse kofta, channa masala, dal, dahi bada and everything was awesome with authentic Indian taste. I love their Aloo Parantha as well. Just call-in before and inform them if you’re planning to eat aloo parantha. Highly recommended if you’re in bern and craving Indian food. WOW!!! This food is beyond words! My wife and I have traveled all over the world and have eaten at somewhere between 50- 100 Indian restaurants (it's our favorite) and this one is easily in our top 3... easily!
