The Theater an der Effingerstrasse — Attraction in Bern

Very small stage, yet very professional. Seats are comfortable, WC is accessible, Food is available. Noise during the play should not be a problem. If you wish, you can deposit valuables/ jackets/ backpacks/ purses before entering the theater. Additionally, the place is very accessible, as it is only a 5-Minute walk from the train station.

Only problem you might encounter is seat reservation. The seat number on your ticket will probably not be taken into account and in the end you end up sitting wherever you want. If this is reported, the personnel and staff there are very friendly and are gald to help you out!

Beautiful and cosy theater. People there are very nice and helpful. I went to "Der rote Löwe, Fussball iat unser Leben" june 2018 and it is a great critical story about footbal, money, performance pressure even in low professional teams. The three great actors fill the scene without effort with live emotion and humor. You don't even miss the other players...

Ich glaube der Begriff klein aber fein passt hier sehr gut. Da das Theater nur eine kleine Bühne hat. Kann man hier nichts erwarten was einem mit spezial Effekten vom Hocker haut. Jedoch durch die schauspielerische Darstellung und durch die spezielle Bühne die in zwei teile aufgebaut ist und sich so drehen lässt das man mit einer Wand zwei Räume darstellen kann macht das Theater komplett flüssig ohne abdunklung der Szene um das Kulissen bild zu ändern. Fazit: Ich persönlich empfehle das Theater zu besuchen wenn man gerade in der Stadt ist. Jedoch nicht wenn man nur das in seiner Planung hat und dafür extra...
