Lunch at Cafe de Riex among the steeply-terraced vineyards on the side of Lake Geneva, is a ritual during every trip to this region. It's always a highlight of our visit. Recently a dish of scallops with caviar and salmon roe was declared 'the best dish ever' by my husband. While I'm still thinking about those morels stuffed with wild garlic from a previous visit.
