Restaurant Pizzeria Cresta Run — Restaurant in Celerina/Schlarigna

The food was really really nice, however the space was crowded and built of harsh materials, which meant it was very loud sitting inside.

The waiter was not pleasant - we let him know that we could speak a bit of German, Italian and French, and could get by if we spoke slowly - he understood this but seemed to speed up just to spite us.

We were also left waiting for long periods as most of the staff seemed to forget that there were tables in our half of the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes after our mains and eventually gave up and got up to retrieve a dessert menu ourselves. The waiter finally came over and had a go at us for ordering so late because the kitchen was about to close in a few minutes. Had they served us promptly, this would not have been an issue.

The dessert itself was absolutely delicious.

I'd advise getting a reservation. We were only in Zermatt for a single night and walked here to eat. They were very busy midweek but we were lucky. As we were only a couple they fitted us in on the proviso we needed to be clear for another reservation an hour and a half later. The staff were super attentive, top class service and the Pizza choices expansive. Both our Pizzas were fantastic, incredibly tasty. Real friendly Staff and top notch service!

I’ve been to this restaurant three times and now it became a secure place to eat and have good time. Me Ferrari is the best host, nowadays impossible to find his professionalism. The food is good, some traditions and some classics well made. Asparagus during the high season are incredible.
