We had a reservation for 1 PM. Since it was Mother's Day, the menu was very limited but it seemed ok. It took us 30 minutes just to get our order. 20 minutes later we received our starters which were disgustingly small and didn't taste good: the tteokbokki was not spicy at all and the mandu tasted like a microwave meal. The worst part? We spent a ridiculous amount of money for the tteokbokki: 17 CHF. But we then decided to wait for the main meal and waited for over an hour, and only when we asked where our food was, it came. But even it was sub-par: for 30 CHF we were served japchae that tasted like pre cooked noodles and for another 30 CHF we were served a bibimbap that was very clearly undercooked. Portion sizes were also abysmally small. Judging by the price and the wait times, we were expecting a meal that tasted like a gift from god but I think I would have had a better experience eating cup noodles. And as a Korean person I do NOT understand how they can charge so much money for food that is sometimes in Korea even considered street food. The servers told us it was because it was Mother's Day and that there were a lot of people, but that doesn't change the fact that the food was average at best and that the portion sizes were...
Read moreGood vibe near the lake, good server, but not really authentic Korean food.
I am Korean, I invited my loved ones to this place and am very disappointed.
Food quality taste is far far away from Korean food style.
-I don't know why Pajeon is so oily, not crispy at all, very small size which is overpriced. Thanks to the server, we could get improved one, size wise and quality wise. But it was still nothing to do with Pajeon-how it SHOULD be. -Japchae was just OK. But it should be with more soy sauce and sesame seed oil. Better with spinach rather than carrots. -Jumeokbap was just OK price and taste. But it was with just a smell of tuna (not enough quantity) and rice was uncooked. I am not sure whether you used Korean rice, which I dont think so. It was so cold. -Banchan, except kimchi, was not really Korean style. -Dakgangjung was just OK.
In general, food quality should be improved. I was thrilled to spend nice time with my loved ones with Korean food ans be proud of it, but it didn't go in that way.
I truly hope some parts improved when we...
Read moreI don't know how foreigners like this place but as Korean it was such a pity that trying to pretend to be a Korean restaurant. Gimbap was just full of rice but such a small quantities of ingredient like vegetables inside. I ve never seen that and this is NOT gimbap. Mandu was very small but still ok. Bulgogi bbq was salty and banchan was not even close to any of the real Korean ones. I understand that we can not find exactly same ingredients from korea but it was tasteless and not so many kinds. It's awkward between adaptation of swiss taste and original Korean taste. None of these strategies were fit. I brought 7 swiss ppl and no one was satisfied with these food . It was too expensive for the quality of food. They have bad impression of Korean food. And that makes me sad. You are presenting culture. Not only...
