A wonderful restaurant with even more fantastic food. Even with a not great start the restaurant crew was marvelous and changed the stay into a real experience. The food is out of this world as the 2 Michelin stars and 18 Gault Millau points are really underestimated, the food is fantastic and a bomb of flavors and taste. A special creation with a twist of originality of puristic taste. Just marvelous. The wine flight was great and just on the Pont. The only thing the dress code could be better tracked. Das Restaurant Ecco im Hotel Giardino Ascona ist ein Ort, an dem Genuss, Stil und Herzlichkeit perfekt zusammenfinden. Wir durften Anfang Oktober einen wundervollen Abend erleben, der in jeder Hinsicht beeindruckte.

Ein grosses Kompliment an Reto Brändli, der gerade ganz verdient zwei Michelin-Sterne erhalten hat. Seine Küche vereint Präzision, Kreativität und Seele – jedes Gericht ist eine harmonische Komposition aus Aromen, Texturen und Emotionen. Reto Brändli ist dabei kein abgehobener Spitzenkoch, sondern ein unglaublich bodenständiger und herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich Zeit für seine Gäste nimmt und mit echter Freude präsent ist.

Das Team rund um ihn verdient ebenso grosses Lob: aufmerksam, professionell, aber vor allem herzlich. Man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird – jedes Lächeln ist echt, jeder Service-Moment perfekt abgestimmt. Die Atmosphäre ist elegant, ruhig und trotzdem angenehm entspannt, ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Geniessen.

Ich durfte an diesem Abend meinen Geburtstag feiern und wurde mit kleinen, liebevollen Gesten überrascht – unaufdringlich, herzlich und unvergesslich.

Kurz gesagt: Das Ecco ist mehr als ein Gourmetrestaurant – es ist ein Erlebnis voller Geschmack, Wärme und Menschlichkeit. Ein grosses Dankeschön an das gesamte Team – wir kommen...
