Grotto Crivelli — Restaurant in Circolo della Magliasina

Fortunately, I didn’t let myself be influenced by one or two, not so positive evaluation, which did not correspond in any way to all that I had the opportunity to experience… It is a very well located place, with a magical and romantic atmosphere, right on the lakefront… It is accessible by road, but also by boat (it has its own dock). Despite having arrived without a reservation, (and at that time it was practically full), I was warmly received and accommodated in a wonderfully familiar environment... The entire menu is very tempting, but my choice was a “Luganighetta del rupper di magliaso con risotto al rosmarino”, exquisitely served… the fish was fresh and was cooked with a touch that was both crunchy and tender, the risotto, super creamy and absolutely delicious! I would also like to mention the excellent sparkling white wine and to finish off a slice of fruit pie... I can only highly recommend this pleasant experience, which I certainly hope to...

Jahrelang waren wir Stammgäste bei Erika im Ristorante Taverna dei Pescatori und dementsprechend traurig, als wir erfahren haben, dass aus dem Pescatori das Grotto Crivelli mit neuen Gastgebern wird.

Letztes Jahr waren wir zweimal dort und mussten leider beide Male feststellen, dass weder die Menü-Karte, noch das Essen oder der Service zufriedenstellend waren. Im Gegenteil, alles war eine grosse Enttäuschung. Trotz allem haben wir uns dieses Jahr entschieden, dem Crivelli eine letzte Chance zu geben. Und... wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.

Es scheint, als ob die Küchencrew sowie das Personal gewechselt haben. Ebenso ist die Karte neu. Der Salat war frisch, das Saltimbocca mit Risotto, die Eglifilets mit Risotto sowie die Penne all'arabbiata richtig gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen war die Bratensauce beim Saltimbocca. Diese schmeckte wie eine Fertig-Bratensauce. Ebenso war das Panna Cotta ausgezeichnet. Die Menü-Karte zeigt eine schöne Auswahl, auch die Weinkarte. Der Service war sehr, sehr freundlich.

Also für uns hat es gepasst. Wenn es so weiter geht, werden wir regelmässig im Crivelli...

We had a lovely visit to Caslano today walking around the lake. We stopped at Grotto Crivelli and enjoyed a wonderful rose wine with a charcuterie platter followed by carpaccio, a fresh green soup of peas, asparagus and potatoes and the most wonderful homemade bread. Couldn’t have asked for a better location with a canopy of trees above us and...
