We stopp d here for a lunch. The ambiance was lovely, and service was warm and welcoming since moment we entered.

Given the name, we felt we had to try the fish – assuming it would be their specialty. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the low point of our meal. The fish dish was underwhelming: poorly grilled, bland, and lacking seasoning. It was a mix of different types of fish – which we later understood to be of "secondary quality" – and it definitely tasted that way.

The green salad didn’t help redeem the meal either. It was just a few sad pieces of iceberg lettuce – not what I’d expect when ordering a simple salad (some fresh leaf mix would have been nice).

But to be fair, not everything was disappointing. The focaccia with pistachio pesto was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Honestly never had such a delicious focaccia in my life!! Likewise, the gnocchi with pistachio sauce was rich, flavorful, and beautifully done – truly the highlight of the day!

In short, while the fish left a lot to be desired to dropped my review to 4 stars, the pistachio-based dishes were excellent. I'd consider returning, but I’d definitely skip the...

Quando siamo arrivati con il mio partner, eravamo stati fuori tutto il giorno all’aria aperta, non eravamo vestiti in modo elegante e abbiamo tra i 30 e i 35 anni. Sembrava che non fossimo il target del locale, e la receptionist ci ha trattati piuttosto male, non ci offriva alternative e nel frattempo accoglieva con grande gentilezza le altre persone che arrivavano.

Quando abbiamo ordinato una frittura di calamari e gamberi, ci siamo accorti che tutti i pezzi di calamaro erano solo le estremità. Alla cassa, chiedendo spiegazioni al responsabile, ci ha detto che usano il corpo del calamaro per altre ricette, e che quindi quello che avanza viene servito come frittura di calamari. Sarebbe opportuno specificarlo al momento dell’ordine — gli ho fatto notare che è come scrivere sul menù “bistecca” e servire l’ultimo pezzo pieno di grasso e con pochissima carne. Ma niente, mi ha risposto che è così e che la gente non si lamenta.

Insomma, è un posto per turisti, dove non si presta particolare attenzione ai clienti italiani perché la maggior parte della clientela è composta da svizzeri che vengono a lasciare lì i loro soldi — e finché loro sono felici, non c’è nulla da fare.

Molto bravi i camerieri, giovani, si vede che non hanno molta esperienza ma lavorano bene, sono responsabili e quando sbagliano la prima cosa che fanno è chiedere scusa. Trattamento eccellente: l’unica cosa positiva del posto.

Il trattamento ricevuto dal responsabile alla cassa invece... magnifico. Ci ha fatto capire subito, alla prima lamentela, che non gliene importava ASSOLUTAMENTE NULLA di quello che dicevamo. Una vera gioia,...
