Short version: Location, unexpected amuse-bouche and drink Quality of food and swiftness of staff

The location is great, inside it's a sweet little grotto-like restaurant with nice decorations, outside you get to sit at a piazza right at the lake. Service is ok, although it took them almost half an hour to get us the check.

Recieved an amuse-bouche and a complimentary drink before/after dinner which was much appreciated!

The food was only ok, though. The Vitello Tonnato is a gigantic portion that comes with a salad that's a starter in itself. It tastes good but we're glad we shared. The Risotto was on the rather bland side and the main reason we're giving this only three stars is the pizza. A place that claims to be a pizzeria should never use cheap mozzarella and especially canned mushrooms. For me, that's lack of quality. Fresh mushrooms should...

Location All’arrivo, l’attesa per essere accompagnato al tavolo riservato è risultata piuttosto lunga, un dettaglio che stride con le aspettative in un contesto di questo livello. La terrazza, affacciata sul lago, si è però rivelata un palcoscenico suggestivo, capace di elevare l’esperienza grazie a una vista davvero incantevole.

Accoglienza e aperitivo In apertura ho scelto di ordinare un drink. La mancanza di un piccolo accompagnamento – sebbene non imprescindibile – ha fatto venire meno quell’attenzione al dettaglio che, soprattutto in un ambiente di pregio, viene generalmente apprezzata.

Cucina Il Cordon bleu ordinato si è dimostrato ben eseguito, con un equilibrio gustativo soddisfacente e una preparazione complessivamente convincente.

Ambiente Gli interni del locale risultano puliti e curati, trasmettendo un’immagine ordinata e piacevole.

Servizio Il vero punto dolente della serata è stato il servizio: il personale di sala è apparso poco presente e, dopo l’arrivo della cena, non si è premurato di liberare i tavoli dai bicchieri e dai piatti dell’aperitivo. In una cornice tanto prestigiosa, ci si aspetterebbe un’attenzione al cliente più puntuale e un servizio di livello esemplare.

Conclusione Nonostante la bellezza della location e una cucina che si difende con discreta solidità, le carenze nell’organizzazione e, soprattutto, nel servizio riducono sensibilmente la qualità complessiva dell’esperienza. Un luogo che ha tutte le carte in regola per distinguersi, ma che attualmente non riesce a esprimere appieno il suo potenziale, lasciando al cliente più delusione che...

Jesus. Worst pizza of our lives, don't waste your money. Here's why: all the toppings came from a can (red bell peppers, champignons, architokes, all were pickled). There was barely any cheese or sauce. On top of that, the pizza bottoms were hard and slightly burned. How is this even possible. Any frozen pizza from the supermarket is better than this hard tasteless trap. The only good thing about this place is the view, which is nice. Anyway, shame on the management for being so cheap!
