I chose to have dinner here with my wife, drawn by the stunning lakeside location. The welcome was warm: the ladies in the dining room are friendly, smiling, and professional, greeting you both on arrival and when you leave. The waiter, although less smiley, was still polite and professional.

Unfortunately, the disappointment came with the food. I ordered the risotto with oxtail “alla vaccinara”: there was barely 10 grams of meat in the whole dish, cut into tiny cubes like a mirepoix. Paying CHF 32 for a risotto with almost no meat was disappointing. Had I seen a photo beforehand, I wouldn’t have ordered it. The roasted eggplant was also a very small portion for the price.

Overall, prices are high for very small portions. The location is undeniably beautiful, and the staff friendly and professional, but the food is not up to standard – it only looks good on the plate. A real pity for a restaurant with such potential.

Ich habe mich entschieden, hier mit meiner Frau zu Abend zu essen, angelockt von der traumhaften Lage am See. Der Empfang war herzlich: Die Damen im Service sind freundlich, lächeln und begrüßen einen sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch beim Abschied. Der Kellner war etwas weniger lächelnd, aber dennoch korrekt und professionell.

Leider kam die Enttäuschung beim Essen. Ich bestellte Risotto mit Ochsenschwanz “alla vaccinara”: Im ganzen Gericht waren vielleicht 10 Gramm Fleisch, in winzige Würfel wie Suppengrün geschnitten. 32 CHF für ein Risotto mit praktisch keinem Fleisch zu bezahlen, war enttäuschend. Hätte ich vorher ein Foto gesehen, hätte ich es nicht bestellt. Auch die gegrillte Aubergine war eine sehr kleine Portion für den Preis.

Insgesamt sind die Preise hoch im Verhältnis zu den sehr kleinen Portionen. Die Lage ist unbestreitbar wunderschön, das Personal freundlich und professionell, aber das Essen ist nicht auf dem erwarteten Niveau – es sieht nur auf dem Teller gut aus. Schade für ein Restaurant mit so viel Potenzial.

Ho scelto di cenare qui con mia moglie attratto dalla splendida location sul lago. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa: le ragazze in sala sono sorridenti, gentili e professionali, ti salutano con un sorriso all’arrivo e alla partenza. Il cameriere, pur meno sorridente, è rimasto comunque corretto e professionale.

Il problema purtroppo è arrivato con il cibo. Ho ordinato un risotto con coda alla vaccinara: della “coda” c’erano sì e no 10 grammi in tutto il piatto, tagliata a cubettini minuscoli tipo soffritto. Pagare 32 CHF per un risotto praticamente senza carne è stato deludente. Se avessi visto una foto in anticipo non l’avrei ordinato. Anche la melanzana arrostita: porzione minuscola rispetto al prezzo.

In generale, prezzi alti a fronte di porzioni molto piccole. La location è indiscutibilmente stupenda, il personale gentile e professionale, ma il cibo non è all’altezza: si salva solo per la presentazione. Un vero peccato per un ristorante con un...
