Very unique little restaurant with traditional food that I've never tasted before. The location is very beautiful as you can see a large waterfall from the terrace and after lunch you can explore the unique stone village behind the restaurant.

The sausages are made in a traditional way which adds to a unique texture and flavour. Even though I respect the craftsmanship the taste of the sausages was not for me. The salami tasted very good and the cheese selection was interesting as well. We also tried the polenta which had an interesting smoke taste profile.

The service and atmosphere was very nice and it was a great quick stop and a nice way of getting to know the traditions in Ticino...

A true hidden gem! Already the setting deserves a 5 stars: a beautiful stone restaurant terrasse, surrounded by nature with a breathtaking view on the massive waterfall! The staff was very welcoming, multilingual and very accomodating: since they serve local dishes, they explained what they are and which ones are vegan, and offered other plant-based combinations.
