RISTORANTE PIZZERIA Le Betulle — Restaurant in Circolo di Capriasca

We stopped here for a drink during our walk around Lake Origlio. I’m not sure if the manager was in a bad mood that day, but I wanted to leave an honest review because I will not be returning.

There was a sign at the front door that showed a hand dropping something round like pellets or coins and I gave it a brief look when I entered with my family and our two dogs. It didn’t register to me that it was saying we weren’t allowed to feed our dogs inside (also because I’ve never heard this request in any other restaurant), and as we sat to wait for someone to take our order, I gave my dog some food on the floor in her own bowl without a second thought. The man (who I am assuming is the manager) came over to us, looked at the bowel and said “did you not see the sign?” in a rude and angry manner.

I then registered the sign must have meant we couldn’t feed our dogs indoor, which I’ve never experienced in any other restaurants but is completely fine, so we apologized and removed her food bowl from the floor.

The manager has a right to set this rule, and I certainly feel bad for not having understood the sign immediately, but it was the rude way in which he said it to us.

He might have been having a bad day, so I want to be considerate of this, and maybe he has had awful experiences with past customers and their pets, but the interaction made me want to cry. There is a kinder way to say these things to your customers.

As for drinks, the coffee was not that nice and my mother in law couldn’t finish hers. We didn’t have any food so I cannot speak for that. But the experience with manager left a bitter impression on me and I...

Frequentavo questo ristoranti anni fa, sotto una diversa gestione, era un luogo famigliare, alla mano, in una location molto bella. Della nuova gestione ho solo sentito parlare male, tuttavia, per una cena tra colleghi cercavamo un ristorante all'aperto e nel verde e ho pensato di dargli una possibilità.

Eravamo in 15 e quasi tutti hanno mangiato pizza. Chi ha preso la carne ha detto che sembrava una suola di scarpa, mentre la tartare di salmone non pareva fresca. Alcune pizze sono state dimenticate e fatte in fretta dopo essersi accorti dell'errore. Nel frattempo chi aveva ricevuto carne e pesce aveva già finito di mangiare quando sono arrivate le ultime pizze.

La cosa tuttavia più grave sono stati i cestini di pane, su tre cestini, TUTTI presentavano pane vecchio e addirittura in tutti i cestini abbiamo trovato del pane ammuffito.

La muffa di per sé è molto grave, tuttavia ho trovato inaccettabile il comportamento del personale, che quando abbiamo fatto notare la muffa ha semplicemente preso il cestino del pane dicendoci "verificherò". Nessuna scusa, nessuna verifica, dopo oltre un'ora abbiamo fatto notare ad un altro cameriere il fatto. Nessuno si è veramente scusato con noi.

Il ristorante chiude alle 23, alle 23:05 il cameriere è uscito e battendo due volte le mani ha detto che il ristorante era chiuso e che volevano andare a casa. Aldilà del fatto che in una sera d'estate PREFESTIVA sarebbe stato gradevole fermarsi un po' più a lungo, ma capisco gli orari di chiusura che vanno rispettati (in questo caso con grande rigore), non ho trovato per nulla professionale il modo in cui siamo stati cacciati dal ristorante dopo aver cenato in 15.

Non ci tornerò, e così sicuramente nessuno dei miei colleghi.

Wir waren im neu gestalteten Restaurant und haben zur Vorspeise eine Focaccia, als Hauptgang Rinds-Tatar und Spaghetti con pesto genovese bestellt. Gefragt, in welchem Schärfegrad ich das Tatar haben wolle, wurde ich nicht.

Der Kellner brachte sehr schnell eine Schale mit Butter. Der erste Gang - die Focaccia - wurde einfach vergessen. Das Pizzabrot oder auch später Toast zum Tatar wurde uns nicht serviert (die anderen Tische erhielten jeweils zu Beginn ein Körbchen mit Pizzabrot). So habe ich also das Tatar zusammen mit Ofenkartoffeln (eine komische Mischung) gegessen, während die Butter auf dem Tisch stand. Auf mein Nachfragen, wozu denn die Butter gedacht sei, hiess es, dies sei "das System" des Restaurants.

Meine Beschwerde beim Geschäftsführer hat lediglich dazu geführt, dass uns ein Grappa und ein Espresso angeboten wurde. Kein Sorry und auch beim Bezahlen am Schluss keine weitere Bemerkung zum Vorfall. Ich hatte dem Chef geschildert, dass wir in der Nähe wohnen und eigentlich gerne vermehrt beim ihm essen würden. Interessiert hat ihn dies nicht.

Alles in allem muss ich leider sagen, dass dieser Besuch nicht wirklcih dazu einlädt, nochmals im Ristorante le Betulle einzukehren. Weder das Essen noch das Auftreten des Personals würden dies begründen. Verstärkt wird dieser Gedanke dadurch, dass auch die angebotenen Pizze bei weitem nicht mehr an die Qualität des vorgängigen Pächters herankommen. Unter anderem wohl auch deshalb, weil der Holzofen entfernt und durch einen Elektrobackofen ersetzt wurde.

Ich hoffe wirklich, dass der Geschäftsführer meine Zeilen zum Anlass nimmt, sich ein wenig zu hinterfragen. Denn nach wie vor würden wir gerne in diesem für uns optimal gelegenen Restaurant...
