Ristorante Aeroporto — Restaurant in Circolo di Locarno

Came here with a colleague a few weeks ago as he wanted to grab a bite at lunch time. The place is located next to the airport, so if you stay outside on their terrace you can spot planes and even soldiers parachuting. The food offer is very wide but prices aren’t really affordable, and I didn’t see any daily offer for example. We took pizzas and they were good, not particularly large or full of ingredients. Their chili oil is extra spicy but delicious. Overall not a bad place to eat, but if you’re not willing to spend much (basic pizza and water cost me 23 chf) this place...

We went for a quick ice cream and chill - but the staff was not really welcoming and amused by this. It was not too packed in the sense that it would be "okish" to be concerned in regards to seating slots (+making most profit) - quite the opposite: it was rather empty and apparently an issue that we did not order food. Ice Cream was delicious (Mövenpick Caramelitta). Views not too special and staff (as mentioned earlier) rude. Have not tried the pizza which is...

Very very nice place. Good food, good broad menu, good prices, playground for the kids right nearby. Very family-friendly. The personel speak both german and english, which can be something of a rarety in these parts of Switzerland. The only minus about the place is, that when it's really busy there the personel seem very stressed out and you sort of feel sorry for them. But I guess it just goes to show what a popular...
