La Tana Del Lupo — Restaurant in Circolo di Quinto

I was sitting in front of the place for an hour before opening, and there was literally no one in the nearby. Since the weather was hot, I put off my shoes next to me, and I organized the content of my bag to put on some sunscreen. While I was filling my bottle at the tap next to the funicolare station, the crew arrived to the place. Without any further notice, they started to remove my stuff, including my wallet and every belongings, and the old man started aggressively sending me away from the bench. I was literally thrown out from the place. This behavior in my opinion is unacceptable, impolite and rude in many levels. I would disencourage everyone from visiting this place, although I cannot tell anything about the quality of food since I did not even get to that point. Esperienza Vergognosa e Disumana alla Tana del Lupo

La nostra esperienza alla Tana del Lupo è stata a dir poco scioccante. Durante una recente visita, una ragazza del nostro gruppo si è sentita male improvvisamente, al punto di essere sul punto di svenire. Era visibilmente pallida e debole, e abbiamo chiesto gentilmente se potessimo farla sdraiare un momento sulle panchine dei loro tavoli per farla riprendere. La risposta che abbiamo ricevuto è stata incredibilmente maleducata e insensibile: ci è stato detto che non era possibile e siamo stati mandati via, con lei che si appoggiava a me per non svenire.

Trovo questo atteggiamento non solo estremamente maleducato, ma anche profondamente irresponsabile. È vergognoso che una struttura che dovrebbe accogliere e prendersi cura dei propri ospiti, soprattutto in un ambiente di montagna dove l'assistenza è fondamentale, dimostri così poca empatia.

Chi gestisce questo locale dovrebbe essere educato al rispetto e all'empatia, qualità essenziali per chi lavora nel settore turistico e ospitalità. La situazione è di una gravità estrema, perché in montagna, quando qualcuno sta male, ci si aspetta sostegno e comprensione, non rifiuto e maltrattamenti. This place is cash only, which I only found out after ordering an espresso. Whoops. The menu looked good but I was in no place to order. Probably the least friendly place for someone who speaks no Italian that I experienced on my entire trip to Switzerland. The espresso was delish. Can’t beat the views...
