If the Hotel Panorama’s motto isn’t, “It’s all in the details,” it very well should be. Our stay at this tiny boutique hotel in Mollens, just down the hill from Crans, was probably one of our best experiences in a long time. Everything about it expresses thoughtful, tasteful quality that is at the same time relaxed, accessible, and welcoming. We walked in early for our check in and were immediately offered a seat at the bar and offered drinks (sparkling water for me, beer for him). Isabelle and Benjamin easily engaged us in conversation. We told them what our plans were, and then we were introduced to Guillaume, the fitness coach. The hotel offers a free morning “wake-up” routine in the gym, led by Guillaume (we called him “Coach”), and he provides guidance on local walks as well. We did not use Coach as a guide, but he did provide us with excellent advice for hikes that fit our interests and level of experience. He even helped us map them out so we’d have no concerns before setting out. And, let me emphasize, DO THE MORNING WORK OUT. It is very good, takes only thirty minutes, and is well worth it. I wish we’d had the forethought to reserve one more session before we left, before a three hour drive to Zurich and an eight hour flight to home. The rooms are not large at Hotel Panorama, but they are outfitted with ample closet space, convenient and nicely designed hanging spaces and shelves, a lovely balcony with gorgeous views, and quality utilities in the bath and the bedroom. After using that Dyson hair dryer, I’m tempted to fork out the money to get one myself. If you find yourself without any essentials, don’t worry. There are plenty of accessories waiting in your room. Just open the drawer in the bath vanity to find shaving, make-up, and dental necessities. Quality soaps, lotion, and shampoos are amply supplied. Likewise, the closet in the bedroom has shoe polish and sewing aids, as well as a shoe bag and laundry bag, both of which are sturdy and stylish. Breakfast is included in the room rate. That is not unusual for hotels in Switzerland. The quality of the goods at Hotel Panorama, however, is unusual. Delicious breads and croissants. Quality cheeses and meats. Fresh fruit and homemade jams. Coffee made expressly for you by a person, not an automatic self-push machine. And all of it presented nicely, on your own table, rather than along a self-serve buffet. Breakfast every day felt special, and was delicious. After one day of hiking, we decided to use the spa. It was, in my opinion, one of the nicest spas I’ve been to in a hotel. Clean, tastefully decorated, well-kept. And unlike other hotels with spas that are pretty yet so exclusive you don’t even want to bother going in, Hotel Panorama makes the whole experience relaxed and welcoming. Stay as long as you like, do what you like, even if it is to simply wrap yourself in the cozy Hotel Panorama robe and slippers, sip some tea and nap on one of the lounges while your partner uses the spa or hammam (I highly recommend doing all three!). Other conveniences about the hotel make it a great choice to stay. I found a great running route right from the hotel, which took me to St. Maurice’s Church, pretty farmland, and then to Bisse Neuf. If you don’t have a car, the bus stops right across the street. The distance to Sierre and to Crans is only a few minutes, making it easy to find shopping, activities, and dining, all while allowing you a peaceful, quiet place to return to, with views and an atmosphere that rival any pricier resort. By the time we left Hotel Panorama, Benjamin, Guillaume, Isabelle, Charlotte, and Nazik (fogive me for any misspellings) all felt like family to us. Each one was warm, welcoming, and helpful. We plan to return to Crans Montana again and when we do, we have no doubt we’ll be staying at the Boutique Hotel Panorama. Well done, guys. You do hospitality...

This summer is a completely special summer. It is the first summer in the last 3 years that at least in Europe, the Near East and North Africa when you can travel freely without restrictions and rules that change overnight. It's the first year since 2019 when you can travel with very little stress (unless Lufthansa doesn t strike) and many of us have broken the chain - plane or bus flights are full, tourist destinations are starting to return to normal, tourist sights are once again full of life. Yes, I know, inflation and war are at our door, (smile mile smile) but it seems that the desire to travel, to leave one's home or city is much stronger.... For some. For me it s '' le monde a l invers", i don t feel like going away from home anymore. For me Aminona is Paradise. ||But Last week i ve needed a Break, so I ve decided to book Panorama for 2 nights. Thing is, from the hotel I could see my home, so it was the closest trip away from home.||The Boutique hotel was Totally renovated,(i, personally would give it 4 stars, instead of 3)the room was nicely decorated, it looked even better in reality than the Photos, everything was new, spotless clean, it was very quiet, and it had a stunning view over the Mountains. What I ve appreciated about this place is that it s away from Crans montana, for me personally it was a plus:you can reach the hotel fast, and, upon departure you are the first to leave the ski resort. The spa is a plus, it has been renovated, you can actually smell the new wood, and they even have a steam Bath.||About The breakfast, it was poor, but i can understand they try to minimize the costs and maximize the profits, as a great deal of money have been invested here. Also, my advise is to book via booking. com, this way You don t risk to book a room with demi pension, and get just the Breakfast, as the Restaurant is closed, or so they ve said(still, the good news is that I ve Discovered a good restaurant în Crans Montana, namely The Thai, where i had the Best Duck crustillante with rice,a Dish that i prefer after all these years of Fondue Chinoise and Raclette, rosti, alplermagronen, (swiss speciality dishes)). ||As I ve said my room(205 Chambre Abricot) was very quiet, and, although the Hotel lies on The Road to Crans Montana, all the rooms are facing south, so you only get the view, and not the noise.A big parking lot lies in front of the hotel, while the bus stop "Panorama" is seconds away(i ve posted a Photo with the Bus schedule). The bus passes the hotel each 30 minutes. ||I can only advise you to book this hotel, as Crans Montana nowadays is really really crowded , it looks more like Kuveit than Crans Montana(which i find normal, as tremperatures în August în Kuveit are higher than 45 degrees), and, if possible not to wait for a '' Last minute deal'', as there won t be one, with all the events that are taking place în August(Omega master, Cirque au sommet, Swiss National day, Local market every Wednesday , and so much more) it will be difficult to find a room at a decent price, as Panorama offers. Also, think that in ski resorts, like Crans Montana, Vercorin, Verbier, Evolene, Gstaad hotels and apartments live only during the seasons(15july-15 august, and 24 th december-5 th January, and some days at Carnaval), the rest of the time they are rather empty, so it s better for them and for us as tourists to book in advance.||Just to end my comment, i will post some Photos of the hotel, and also of Crans Montana, if the management of the Hotel allows it, as I have so many, that tell so many stories, and no place...

Such an amazing experience! The room is so clean and beautiful, you can find there anything you need for your comfortable stay. The hotel is surrounded by mountains - so the view is stunning! They have a fitness room which is very well equipped. I did not try a session with a trainer this time but I had a very nice cardio workout and found everything I needed for Pilates. That was such a pleasure to go to SPA right after the training - hamman and sauna - that’s what I needed to relax. I’d love to mention great breakfast in the morning which is also accompanied by an amazing view. I am leaving now but already willing to come back for my little retreat. I heard many good things about their restaurant so next time I won’t miss the opportunity to have dinner. Thank you very much for your hospitality and see you next time!

This is one lovely place and rooms are with great view. This is a family run business and owners/staff take extra care of staff. Their restaurant has a great view of valley. Their breakfast is limited but enough/good quality. If you going by public transport then you may want to check connection in advance (bus stop is right next to hotel). if you going by car then they have plenty of parking space. Montana is 10 mins drive and mountains are beautiful there. We shall visit again.
