-HISTORY LESSON: Brodard was named in honor of the original French-style bakery in Saigon (of the same name) back in the 1940's. -Came here for the Nem Nuong Cuon, which is the King of All Spring Rolls, it's a roll of rice paper wrapping up lettuce, deep fried egg roll skin, cucumber & nem nuong (pork & shrimp). -Also, tried their Banh Khot, super-delish Northern-style crepe w/shrimp served by rolling fresh mint, lettuce & other veggies I can't recall ;) -All of these dishes were SUPREMELY TASTY. -Also, can't forget to mention their secret dipping sauce, which was tart, sweet & a tad bit spicy.
