Warning to Tourists – Avoid This Restaurant

This restaurant tries to take advantage of customers, especially tourists. I was double-charged on my credit card and then told to pay in cash because they claimed the card didn't go through—clearly a scam. I ended up being charged twice and still had to pay cash for the same meal.

To make matters worse, I was told that the owner’s husband, who works for the city, was working at the restaurant during city-paid hours. It’s disappointing to see this kind of dishonesty.

We ordered the pad thai and the phad mee. There was no sauce at all. It seemed like just plain white noodles and a tiny amount of vegetables. It was completely dry. This isn't pad thai at all. Strange experience. Won't be ordering again.

Wirklich sehr, SEHR positiv überrascht! Zu Anfangs etwas komisch, da die Bestellung auf dem bekannten Portal wegen "geschlossen" zuerst nicht ausgeführt werden konne. Kurze Recherche via Google ergab, das Restaurant ist geöffnet, also angerufen und gefragt ob sie liefern. Ungewöhnlich, aber irgendwie amüsant und authentisch, ging eine Frau ran, die mich auf deutsch nicht verstanden hat, und gefragt hat ob ich englisch spreche. Ja kann ich, also sagte sie mir, dass die Webseite zum bestellen nun "aktiviert" wird. Warum auch nicht, passiert. Haben unsere Auswahl getätigt, und es konnte bestellt werden. Da es sich etwas verspätete, wurden wir angerufen, und exakt informiert. Essen wurde wie versprochen frisch gekocht ausgeliefert, also völlig okay so - zur "Rush Hour" muss man auch mal für sowas Verständnis haben. Äusserst freundlicher Lieferdienst, er hat sich nochmals persönlich für die Verspätung entschuldigt. Wir bestellen sehr gerne wieder. Ganz grosse Klasse, bitte...
