When there is a stunning view, some establishments may get a bit lax in the quality of food. Not this one though. One can tell that they put thoughts and good effort in equaling the view with culinary value. We were a party of 7, and lucky enough to get a table just the day of. I wanted to try a Swiss specialty, and broke my vegetarian diet by ordering a dish of river perch with shaved almonds. It was quite tender and flavorful - note "flavorful" is usually not associated with Swiss cuisine :-). My fellow diners, esp. the carnivores, reported similar satisfaction with their choices, including sausage, ham and beef stroganoff. Food ok, views are great inside if sitting by a window. but the total experience was over-shadowed by an unhelpful waitress, who also refused that we paid for our meals individually (there were 3 of us). After eating, but whilst we were still drinking our coffees someone from the staff started removing the net curtains close to where we were sitting, leaving a flurry of dust around the room - I'm guessing to have them washed. 2 Sterne auch nur weil mir persönlich das Essen doch sehr geschmeckt hat und die Aussicht super ist. Jedoch war nebst der extremen Wespenplage, der Service wirklich eine katastrophe. Nicht nur haben wir über eine Stunde gewartet, auch war Mehrers vergessen oder gar falsch gebracht worden. Als Antwort auf unser darauf aufmerksam mache kam nur - da unsere Bestellung so kompliziert war fehlt nun ein Teil des Essens. Das "Komplizierte" an der Bestellung war lediglich das wechseln von Pommes zu Spätzle beim Cordon Bleu und eine Anfrage für ein normales Rindsfilet mit Reis (Da wir eine frisch operierte ältere Person dabei hatten, was wir auch so kommuniziert haben). Bei der Bestellung-Aufnahme war alles okay, nachher hiess es, sie hätten das gar nicht. Ok. Ob wir nebst dem Apero etwas trinken oder Wein zum Essen möchten, wurden wir erst gar nicht gefragt. Nach der Ansage die sie UNS gemacht haben, hatten sie uns hauptsächlich ignoriert. Sehr schade, denn wir waren über 10 Personen und somit haben sie auch gut verdient. Wären sie freundlicher und aufmerksamer gewesen sogar noch mehr! Zum Schluss haben sie uns dann noch zu viel Rückgeld zurück gegeben, anscheinend war die Rechnung auch zu kompliziert.
