The experience with this restaurant, unfortunately, left much to be desired. On two separate occasions, they proved unreliable in their service. On December 8th, my order was unceremoniously canceled 20 minutes after being placed. I reluctantly decided to give them another chance tonight, only to be met with a staggering delay—2 hours and 40 minutes for delivery. This kind of inefficiency begs the question: why did I not learn from my earlier experience?
As for the food, it was deeply underwhelming. The naan, labeled as “butter naan,” was anything but. Thick, dry, and devoid of even a hint of butter, it was a poor representation of this staple dish. The chicken curry was equally disappointing, featuring overcooked chicken breast pieces that were tough and dry, paired with a bland, uninspired curry. After waiting nearly three hours, one would hope the meal would redeem the experience, but alas, it only added to my dissatisfaction.
Given the plethora of excellent Indian restaurants in the area—such as Darbar, Spice Village, Bombay Darbar, and Thali—this establishment falls far behind its competitors. I implore the owner to sample their own offerings and reevaluate the standards they are setting. Dining out, even through delivery, should be a joy, not an ordeal. Sadly, this was neither.

Read moreToday I was in Embrach for some errands and coincidentally I passed at this outlet called Scent of Spice. Since I love Indian food and can say that I have some experience with really good Indian dishes I wanted to try their Samosa. The Samosa was a bit dry in my opinion but the taste was good. The Raita on the other hand was flawless. Maybe a few chopped onion pieces could spice it up. But it's not mandatory. The service was great and speedy and the staff was friendly. The outlet is nice, tidy and clean as you can see in my pictures. I will definitely try a few more dishes before I give my final judgement on the food quality. The restaurant is accessible for people with...
Read moreWe stopped by at this restaurant on a busy Sunday evening, one of the busiest days for restaurants (because of takeaways etc.). Though it was so busy, the owner, Arnob, made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The food was lovely and made to a very high standard. Particular dishes that stood out were the chicken tikka masala and the egg fried rice. The mango lassi was also incredible. Would mostly definitely recommend. Arnob is clearly someone who is passionate about providing a good experience to his customers and...
