We had an excellent time staying at La Gouille in February 2021. Margot and Jonathan, the new Management Team, are extremely kind, polite and went above and beyond to provide a truly memorable comfort stay. ||||The food at the La Gouille is outstandingly delicious. We had the chef's special on our first evening, then we tried a mouthwatering giant burger which we had seen other guests enjoy the night before, to our delight as we enjoyed these fantastic meals made with fresh ingredients from the region. The portions are big. There is so much to choose from for breakfast. We had pancakes, crepes, eggs, bread, a brownie, hot chocolate and herbal tea. The meals are absolutely fantastic. The chef a master. ||||The service provided by Margot and Jonathan, who run this beautiful hotel, is exceptionally wonderful. They provided a genuinely warm, friendly and professional hospitality that made us feel at home, relaxed, looked after, welcome and in the best place away from home. Thank you so very much!||||The rooms and facilities are good. Our bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and lovely. Only one small blemish, which is typical of most chalets, the walls are thin and some of the floor boards squeak. That said, the hotel is located at one of the last villages surrounded by the beautiful mountains and therefore it is quiet and guests and locals are respectful. For that one imperfection, La Gouille offers a lot more, far beyond expectations. ||||La Gouille is located within walking distance to the famous Lac Bleu, beautiful mountain tops, skii locations among other wonderful expeditions and adventures. The local bus stops right outside La Gouille. ||||We look forward to our next visit and we highly recommend La Gouille.||||Austin...
